The bull is mini highland Wallace from Jacobson Ranch in Arimo, ID
About Kune Kune Pigs
Kune kune is (pronounced KOO-nee KOO-nee) and means “short round”
Small, hairy breed of domestic pig often found with distinctive wattles on their chins
From mainland New Zealand
Are slow growers, taking up to 2 years to fully mature
For meat purposes, they are considered a lard pig
Unlike other pigs, kunekunes can live exclusively on well-maintained pasture grass
Females reach sexual maturity at around 10 months old and males at around a year
Females have a gestation period of 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days
They are very social, intelligent, playful and affectionate

Pumpkin blessed us with eight kune kune piglets on June 19th, 2024. Five girls and three boys.
Another Boy!
Willy gave birth this morning to this little teddy bear. He will be available once he reaches weaning age!
Kate had her calf!
Katie Cow had a beautiful baby boy. He will be available once he is weaning age. This is our smallest calf yet!
Babies Are Here!
Pumpkin has six beautiful piglets that she is doing a wonderful job of mothering. Please reach out if you’re interested in one of these little cuties!

Pumpkin’s due date is Monday, November 6th but she looks ready to go any minute! Stay tuned for a piglet update.

New Mini Highland Update
Rosie’s new calf has been named Thistle. The thistle was the hallmark used on silver in Scottland that proved it’s purity.
